Bago Dedicates Governor Of The Year In Agriculture Award To All Farmers In Nigeria

Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has dedicated his Sun Newspaper 2024 Governor of the Year award in Agriculture to all the farmers in Nigeria.

The farmer Governor stated this after he bagged the Award from the national daily; the Sun Newspaper in Lagos.

He says the honour was not only for him but for all the people of Niger State and all farmers across the country.

The farmer Governor appreciates the Management and Staff of the Sun Publishing Limited for the recognition and honour done to him for his efforts in Agriculture.

He reassures the people of renewed commitment towards achieving the agenda of feeding the nation.

Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, who also doubles as the All Progressives Congress APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje congratulates all the Awardees, saying their Awards were well-deserved.

He acknowledges that the Awardees have evidently distinguished themselves in their various categories of Awards.

While highlighting the critical role Journalism played for Nigeria to gain independence,Dr Umar Ganduje enjoins the pen professionals to focus more in developmental journalism and always be guided by its ethics.

Some Awardees for various categories are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Governors of Sokoto, Alh. Ahmad Aliyu; Plateau Mr Caleb Mutfwang; and Kogi, Ahmed Usman Ododo,

Others include Sen. Ali Ndume, Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamu, Wife of Ebonyi State Governor, Mrs Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, and the Managing Director of NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku.
