BUA’s Abdul Samad Rabiu Receives CBMI Chairman Zhang Sicai In Lagos

Billionaire businessman and BUA Group founder, Abdul Samad Rabiu, hosted Zhang Sicai, Chairman of CBMI (SINOMA Group) and his team, at his Lagos office on April 21, 2026.

CBMI is currently constructing two major cement lines for BUA in Edo and Sokoto. Once completed, these facilities will push BUA Cement’s total production capacity to 20 million tons per annum.

The meeting served as a strategic review of these ongoing projects, which are progressing steadily toward completion.

Reflecting on the visit, Rabiu noted that the meeting solidifies the long-standing partnership between the two companies. He expressed optimism about reaching even greater economy-boosting milestones through their continued collaboration.
