Buhari Seeks Confirmation Of Seven Ministerial Nominees

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent names of seven individuals to the Senate for confirmation as ministers in his cabinet.

The nominated persons are to replace former ministers that turned in their resignation letters following interests in elective positions.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan read the letter of request of President Buhari on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Here is list of the nominees:

Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh – Abia State
Umana Okon Umana – Akwa Ibom State
Egwumakama Joseph Nkama – Ebonyi State
Goodluck Nnana Opiah – Imo State
Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub – Kano State
Ademola Adewole Adegoroye – Ondo State
Odum Odih – Rivers State
