Kafayat Oyetola, Wife of the governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola turned 60 Yesterday, April 2, 2020.

The 60th birthday was devoid of any form of jamboree, highstreet.ng understands.

Sources maintain the development was against the wish of the first lady who was said to have promised herself to an elaborated 60th birthday gig.

All thanks to coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world over at the moment.

Information gathered revealed the dreaded disease shattered Mrs Oyetola’s dream for diamond jubilee celebration.

Information at the disposal of highstreet.ng showed the celebration that would have witnessed an attendance of those that matter in the political circle and beyond quietly held inside governor Oyetola’s country home in Iragbiji.

Iragbiji, a short distance from Osogbo, Osun State capital, is Governor Oyetola’s home town.

According to checks, Mrs Oyetola’s day of joy had in attendance her husband, children and a handful of close family members.

And reason for opting for a low key celebration is simple, they don’t want a situation where the state first family would be tagged as insensitive in a period the country is battling to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, an insider told highstreet.ng.

“Also now that one of the staff in the state government house has reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus”, our source stated.
