Cross River Gov, Ben Ayade Finally Dumps PDP

The governor of Cross River State, Sir Benedict Ayade has just dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He announced this morning, Thursday May 20, 2021 that he’s moving to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This reportedly came to be after meeting with six APC governors who visited him at the Government House in Calabar, the state capital.

Governors Mai Mala Buni,  Hope Uzodinma, David Umahi, and Kayode Fayemi of  Yobe, Imo, Ebonyi and Ekiti States respectively  were among the state executives he played host to before announcement of his defection to the ruling party.
