With a successful debut, the Coke Studio Sessions is set to build on the excitement with a new line-up of artists set to perform live this weekend.

The artistes billed to perform include DJ Khaled, who made an appearance last week; US singer-songwriter, Bebe Rexha; acclaimed DJ, Steve Aoki; and more. All artists’ performances will be streamed live in Nigeria and across the globe via the new streaming platform, #BeApp.

The first week of the Coke Studio Sessions saw fans thoroughly entertained by performances from Indie pop band, Echosmith; Hell’s Kitchen’s singer-songwriter, Max Schneider, popularly known as MAX; Daya; and many more.

The live concert, launched in partnership with #BeApp, brings a new dimension to the streaming experience, with features that allow for more fan-involvement during the performances.

In addition, the platform has presented an opportunity for fans to experience celebrities in a new light beyond the cameras, with intimate conversations between both parties facilitated by the activity, as seen last week with sessions with Daya, Echosmith, and MAX.

Daya, in response to a question from a fan regarding the current global situation, expressed her heartfelt concern and shared a hopeful message with her fans. “Togetherness and connection is what we need [at this moment]. We’re all in this together,” she said. In similar intimate fashion, Max shared his appreciation for those at the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic while tsking questions from the fans.

Most importantly, through the Coke Studio Sessions, fans can donate a minimum of $10 to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) through #BeApp across select countries to fight COVID-19 in the respective countries, and this will be matched by a donation of $3million from The Coca-Cola Company.

Performances from DJ Khaled, Bebe Rexha, Steve Aoki and more are set to hold this Friday through till the end of the week. They can be streamed live via #BeApp or through Coca-Cola’s YouTube and Facebook platforms.
