EFCC Arraigns EX-AGF Malami Over Alleged N8.7bn Money Laundering

The Economy and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has finally arraigned Abubakar Malami, the former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.

The arraignment of Malami who is facing N8.7bn money laundering allegations alongside his wife and son came to be today, December 30, 2025.

Mr Malami and his co-defendants were arraigned on 16-count charges before Justice Emeka Nwite of Federal High Court Abuja.
