Ex-Gov Emeka Ihedioha In Deep Shock And Grief

Former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, is deep shock and grief.

The development, highstreet.ng understands, was over what he described as “untimely and unexpected passing of Ugochimereze Chinedu Asuzu, a young man, who, in company of two others, visited to preach the gospel of their support group “I Stand With ADC” to him in his Abuja office.

Reacting to the devastating occurrence in a post via his Facebook handle, Mr Ihedioha wrote….

Grief and shock overwhelmed me upon learning of the untimely and unexpected passing of Ugochimereze Chinedu Asuzu. A little while ago, he visited my Abuja office, and we had robust and meaningful discussion on diverse issues .
He and his team had even informed me of their decision to honor me as the patron of their support group, “I Stand with ADC.”

Ugo was a promising young man with great potential and vision. In my various engagements with him, He came across as very knowledgeable, passionate in the course he believes in, and non mercantile.

His passing is a stark reminder of life’s fragility. I can only imagine the immense pain his immediate family must be going through. Ugo’s passing will be deeply felt by the Rebuild Imo Organisation, Imo ADC, where he served as the Deputy State Publicity Secretary, and the numerous other groups he was part of. His absence will undoubtedly leave a significant void.

While no words can fully console you, may you find solace in the wisdom of Ecclesiastes—that there is a time for everything under the sun. Ugo has left his mark and departed with dignity. We will continue to pray for his soul and honor his legacy.

On behalf of the Rebuild Imo Team, which Ugo was committed to, and my family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Azuzu family.

May your soul rest in peace.
