Ex-Reps Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun Says There Is Evil Plot Against His Life
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yusuf Lasun has said there is an evil plot against his person.
He has expressly accused his political opponents to be behind the unholy move.
He made the allegation at a press conference at his campaign office in Osogbo, the Osun State Capital on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Mr Lasun is the governorship candidate of Labour Party in Osun State,
He is in the contest with incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party, among others.
Osun State gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
The former member of the ruling All Progressives Congress confirmed his campaign team and office to have been under several attacks in the past days.
The Ex-lawmaker, who pleaded with security agencies to be “on red alert”, disclosed the evening of Thursday May 19, 2022 attack on his campaign office in Osogbo to be the latest.
