Gov Bago Urges APC Members To Mobilise For 2027 Election Victory

Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has called on all APC members to reach out to the grassroot and their respective constituencies to ensure that the party succeeds at all levels in 2027 general elections.

The farmer governor made the call when he presided over a critical stakeholders meeting of APC from all the 25 Local Government Areas, held at the Hauwa Wali Multipirpose Hall, Government House Minna.

Farmer Umaru Bago said, it is the duty of every member of APC in the State to serve as foot soldiers and campaign not only for themselves, but for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well.

The farmer governor who decried the actions of some APC members in the State as unacceptable said, as beneficiaries of the ruling party, no one should be seen trying to sabotage the party’s success.

He therefore urged all APC members in the State to work assidiously as a team with sincerity of purpose and contribute immensely to the growth of the party and for the overall wellbeing of citizens.

Farmer Bago while admitting that party primary  comes with post primary crisis said, efforts are being made to reconcile with aggrieved members and the reconciliatory moves of the party is already yielding results.

The farmer governor highlighted some numerous achievements of his APC led administration in the State and described them as unprecedented and reassured Nigerlites of more developmental strides even as he called for more support to realise the new niger agenda.

Minister of Information and orientation, Muhammad Idris Malagi in his remarks said the meeting is among series of strategies evolved by the farmer governor  to sanitize the APC party in the State and strive for its growth even as he emphasized the need to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the remarkable work he has been doing.

There were remarks from the Senator representing Niger East senatorial district, Sen. Muhammed Sani Musa, former Senator representing the same zone, Sen. David Umaru, Minister of State agriculture, Abdullahi Sabi, former deputy governor of Niger State, Ahmed Muhammed Ketso who all emphasized on the need to be united to achieve a common purpose.

Remarks also came from the National Vice Chairman, APC North Central, Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, State APC Chairman, Aminu Musa Bobi who equally called for  members of the APC especially candidates to connect with their constituents to ensure APC wins massively in 2027 general elections.

The Stakeholders meeting was well attended with the likes of the deputy governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba in attendance including former and serving Federal and State legislators, APC Ward and local government Chairmen, Local Government Council Chairmen and their Vices, patrons of APC, party loyalists amongst others.
