It is official, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has taken a new wife.

The first-class monarch unveiled his new wife, Queen Mariam Anako, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

The unveiling of the brand new queen, said to be a private affair with a handful of family members and well-wishers in attendance, took place inside Ile-Ife, Osun State palace of the respected traditional ruler.

Interestingly, the ceremony came to be nine months after Queen Silekunola, unceremoniously walked out of her marriage to Oba Ogunwusi.
