Lagos Speaker Obasa Elected Again

The Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, has been elected again.

His victory at the Saturday, March 18, 2023 house of assembly election makes it the sixth time he will be elected to represent Agege 1 constituency in the state assembly.

Mr Obasa was declared winner of the contest by Dr Lukman Adeniji, the INEC Returning Officer for Agege constituency election.

Obasa, according to the returning officer, polled 17, 214 votes to trounce Mr Raheem Alani of Labour Party, Kafayat Biobaku of ADC and the PDP candidate who polled, 3,933 votes, 62 votes and 1,609 votes respectively.
