Meet Dele Adeleke The Nephew Fighting Ademola Adeleke For Osun PDP Guber Ticket
A political fight is going on in Osun State.
And at the centre of the confrontation are Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2018 gubernatorial election, and his nephew, Dele Adeleke.
The battle rocking the popular Adelekes dynasty is over who picks PDP’s governorship ticket, highstreet.ng understands.
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced that another governorship election holds in Osun State on July 16, 2022.
Ademola who became a senator in 2016 after the death of his brother and first executive governor of Osun State, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke – the previously occupier of the senatorial seat – and Dele are members of the PDP.

Ademola Adeleke who lost the 2018 gubernatorial election to incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has indicated interest in giving the gubernatorial contest a try once again.
But unfortunately, the blood brother of singer Davido’s billionaire father, Deji Adeleke, according to sources, has a strong opposition in his nephew, Dele Adeleke who has reportedly picked the opposition party’s nomination form.

Interestingly, Dele, a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and Lagos Business School and accountant cum business manager, who piloted the recapitalization drive of Pacific Bank in 2002, is said to be enjoying the support of certain stakeholders who believe he is endowed with the kind of qualities lacking in the “dancing senator”, who, a couple of months back, bagged a degree in criminal justice from Atlanta Metropolitan State College, United State of America.
Further digs revealed Dele Adeleke, who spearheaded the defunct bank’s inroad into Oil and Gas Market and vessel acquisition, was the PDP Agent at the state collation centre for the 2018 gubernatorial election where his uncle (Ademola Adeleke) was the candidate.
