MTN Nigeria Sets To Take Go M.A.D. Campaign To Jos

MTN Nigeria is set to take its Go Make A Difference (Go M.A.D.) campaign to Jos, a city known for its thriving entertainment and creative industries.

The event is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2025, at Jos City Park, Kruise Yard, bringing an exciting fusion of technology, storytelling, and community impact.

The Go M.A.D. campaign is MTN’s call to action for Nigerians to leverage digital connectivity and innovation to create positive change in their communities. After successful activations in Abuja, Enugu, Calabar, Ibadan, Benin, and Aba, the campaign is now set to inspire and empower changemakers in Jos.

Speaking at the campaign launch in January, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, explained the vision behind the initiative. “At MTN, we believe in the power of connectivity to transform lives. Go M.A.D. is a call to action, encouraging people to use technology and creativity to make an impact. We want to support and celebrate those making a difference, whether in entertainment, business, or digital solutions.”

Jos residents can expect an exciting experience filled with interactive games, flash mobs, and special guest appearances. Attendees will also have the chance to take part in Kahoot trivia games and a Go M.A.D. puzzle and win MTN-branded merchandise and digital devices.

The event aims to spotlight local entertainers, creatives, and digital innovators from Jos, making a difference and standing out in their fields. This will focus on individuals using MTN’s digital tools to improve their craft, share their ideas, and build lasting careers.

Jos has a rich history in music and film production, and the campaign will recognize Go M.A.D. Icons—local changemakers who are using technology and creativity to drive progress in their communities. These icons are real-life examples of how digital access can open doors and create opportunities for growth.

The event will also celebrate Jos’s cultural heritage with music performances, art displays, and creative showcases, all highlighting the city’s deep entertainment roots. More than just an event, Go M.A.D. is a movement aimed at inspiring young people to use their talents and digital access to make a real difference.

With this activation, MTN continues to drive its message of innovation, storytelling, and community impact. The Go M.A.D. campaign is not just about technology—it’s about using it to empower the next generation of changemakers across Nigeria.
