Singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley has been granted bail by the Lagos State Police Command.
He was released from custody yesterday, highstreet.ng understands.
The police authority reportedly allowed Naira Marley to go because they do not want to violate his right by keeping him in the cell beyond the period allowed by law.
But there are indications he will be arraigned today April 8, 2020.
Naira Marley surrendered to the police authority after he was declared wanted for performing at a house party Jenifa Actress” Funke Akindele hosted for her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello.
The party Funke Akindele and her husband held in flagrant disregard for the Nigerian government’s orders on Coronavirus had earlier earned the couple 14 days community service terms and N100,000 fine each.
