Our Office Was Not Visited, Raided By EFCC – BUA

BUA Group has described as unfounded reports in some section of the media that it office was visited and raided by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

The Nigerian conglomerate, with interest in manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture, responded to the spurious news item via an official communication made available and signed by its management.

Titled “CLARIFICATION: PUBLIC NOTICE” the official response reads:

BUA wishes to clarify that its premises were not visited by EFCC today, Thursday, January 4, 2024 neither was it raided, as has been alleged in some online publications and being shared via whatsapp broadcasts.

The general public is hereby advised.
