PDP’s Akin Ogunbiyi Tells Why He Wants To Be Osun Governor

Akin Ogunbiyi, one of the contenders for the gubernatorial ticket of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has revealed Key factors driving his ambition.

“My ambition is about delivery of the dedicated and goal-driven leadership that Osun requires,” the Ile Ogbo born businessman turned politician stated.

Mr Ogunbiyi made the statement in a post via his Facebook handle.

The Chairman of Mutual Benefits Assurance who maintains he’s counting on the support of all and sundry further said “the State will witness all-round rejuvenation, built on my commitment to the ideals of good governance”.

Osun State governorship election is scheduled to hold on July 16, 2022.

Interestingly, Mr Ogunbiyi has a major contender for the ticket of his party in former Senator Ademola Adeleke, the man who defeated him to emerge the candidate of the PDP during the 2018 gubernatorial contest.
