“Pride Of Our Dear State And Nation” – Gov Eno Celebrates Ibom Air At Six

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, has sent his congratulatory message to the State- owned airline, Ibom Air on the occasion of its Sixth Anniversary.

In a congratulatory message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno, commended the management and staff of the airline for, “holding aloft our flag of excellence in aviation.

“Six years after you commenced commercial operations, you have become the reference point in the Nigerian aviation sector, winning almost all the awards available in the sector.

“As the airline steps into your seventh year of operations, I know you will continue to be the airline of choice, the very definition and epitome of timely service delivery and the pride of our dear State and Nation.”

Governor Eno, also commended the vision of the immediate past Governor, Udom Emmanuel, CON, for establishing the airline, and reaffirmed his commitment to seeing to its expansion and growth.

Since assumption of office in 2023, Governor Eno, has intervened heavily to support Ibom Air, as the airline of choice. He has outrightly purchased two additional CRJ 900 series Bombardier jets and also took delivery of two Airbus A220-300 Series as well as other huge investments in the aviation eco-system.
