Senator Lanre Tejuosho has suddenly gone mute.

And the Senator representing Ogun Central senatorial district is nowhere to be found.

“Not that he was that visible before now, but he was making conscious efforts to make self-available to electorates as the election nears. But he has ceased such moves” a source informed societynow.ng.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed this development came after Governor Ibikunle Amosun publicly announced the intention to take over Tejuosho’s seat at the Senate.

Senator Tejuosho was said to have scurried out of the meeting of the Ogun state chapter of the All Progressives Congress where Amosun made the announcement before it ended.

Senator Tejuosho who recently defected and returned to the party within 48hrs reportedly went off the radar since them.

“Tejuosho went as far as ceasing engagements on his growing popular official Facebook page” a source disclosed to societynow.ng

Senator Tejuosho is viewed as largely owing his present position to the “magnanimity” of the governor who has indicated interest to take over his seat.
