Vacate Office Immediately, Gov Wike Tells Sacked Cabinet Members

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has relieved all appointees in his cabinet of their jobs.

The development came to be today, May 24, 2022.

The announcement directing their sack was signed and made available by Kelvin Ebiri, the Special Assistant on Media to the governor.

Also affected by Governor Wike’s Action were his Chief of Staff, Emeka Woke, and his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Mr. Harold Koko.

Their sack takes effect immediately.

The communication further directed all the affected officials to hand over to the most senior officers in the respective ministries.
