What Jimoh Ibrahim Did After Winning APC Ticket For Ondo South Senatorial District

Billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim has emerged the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ondo South Senatorial District.

The primary election held at the Stella Morris College, Okitipupa on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Mr. Ibrahim, backed by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, polled a total of 190 votes to defeat other contestants in the race.

Those who are familiar with the process revealed Mr. Ibrahim immediately made a thank you call to Governor Akeredolu after he was declared the winner of the contest.

The outcome of the party primary election confirmed earlier report by highstreeet.ng that suggested the exercise would be a mere formality for the wealthy Nigerian behind Global Fleet Group.

Mathew Oyerinmade came second with a total of 92 votes.

Boye Oyewunmi, Morayo Lebi, and Sola Iji – who were also part of the process – got 23, 9, and 9 votes respectively.
