Why Billionaire Tonye Cole Is Currently Rocking A Gay Mood

Billionaire businessman Tonye Patrick Cole is a very happy person at the moment.

And the reason for the current state of mind of Mr. cole, who is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election in Rivers State is straightforward. A court case threatening his gubernatorial ambition has just been thrown out.

The court case reportedly giving the billionaire co-founder of energy conglomerate – Sahara Group – was instituted by Governor Nyesom Wike led Rivers State Government.

Before the latest development, Mr. Cole, the APC candidate in Rivers State in 2019 who was disqualified by the court, and his political godfather, Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation among others had criminal charges hanged on their necks.

They were accused of selling Rivers government assets and diverting the proceeds running into several billions of Naira during Amaechi’s tenure as the state Governor.

But relief appears to have finally come the way of Mr. Cole and his co-accusers with the lawyer to that state government intimating the court of their intention to discontinue the suit.

According to report, the Presiding Judge, Justice Okogbule Gbasam threw out the suit after listening to Mr. Cole and Amaechi’s lawyer’s arguments.
