“Your Kindness, Generosity & Philanthropy Continue To Inspire…” Abdul Samad Rabiu Hails Father, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu 6yrs After

Billionaire businessman and chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu is remembering his later father Khalifa Shiekh Isyaku Rabiu today.

Born on October 9, 1925, Khalifa Shiekh Isyaku Rabiu – a renowned businessman during his life time – passed on May 8, 2018.

Age 92, he breathed his last in London, United Kingdom.

Remembering his influential father six years after in a piece simply titled “My Dear Khalifa”, the founder of Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) who is relentless in his efforts to transform lives across the continent of Africa through his philanthropic gestures declares that “though the sense of loss remains, I am grateful for the honour of being your son.”

The founder of BUA Group – a Nigerian conglomerate with interest in food, mining, infrastructure and manufacturing – further insisted his father’s “words, teachings, and impact will always motivate” him and his siblings to strive for more.

My Dear Khalifa,

Today marks the sixth anniversary of your passing and though the sense of loss remains, I am grateful for the honour of being your son.

Your unwavering dedication to promoting peace through the teachings of Islam is a legendary memory that still resonates till today. Your kindness, generosity, and philanthropy continue to inspire me and my siblings to practice and live according to the values you taught us with loving guidance. We remain committed to supporting every charitable cause aimed at making a meaningful difference in the lives of people in Nigeria and beyond.

Dear Khalifa, your words, teachings, and impact will always motivate us to strive for more. We are committed to continuing your legacy just as you taught us.

May the Almighty Allah continue to grant you Jannah (Paradise) and may you rest in eternal peace.
