The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) has concluded arrangement to hold its first National Conference on Synergy between the Nigerian Banking Industry and the Organised Private Sector (OPS).

According to the management of ACAMB, the banking industry corporate communications and reputation management group, with Mr. Rasheed Bolarinwa as President, the conference is put together in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Speaking at a briefing in Lagos in preparation for the conference aptly themed “National Stakeholders Conference on Nigeria Banking Industry and the Organised Private Sector”, Mr. Bolarinwa disclosed the conference would be beneficial to the Nigerian economy.

“Ultimately, the Nigerian economy would be the major beneficiary of the Conference as far-reaching strategies would be unfolded to tap the economy’s untapped benefits through the expected synergy”, Mr. Bolarinwa told a gathering of selected media houses on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

He further said “the Conference would bring together the best players on both sides to act as Think Tank for the Nation’s macro economic growth. The Organized Private Sector is a valued stakeholder of the banking industry. Both the banking industry and the organized private sec play major roles in growing the economy. The need for the two sectors to work closely cannot be overemphasized. ACAMB is therefore reaching out to secure the participation of relevant speakers at the conference.”
