Even as gloom surrounds him, insiders reveal Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose still has reason to be happy.

And this is courtesy of the gesture of billionaire Kessington Adebutu.

Insiders disclosed the Casino king doled out about N800million to the state helmsman for the just concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election.

Fayose’s candidate Olusola Eleka lost to eternal rival Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress.

Eleka and the People’s Democratic Party are challenging the result of the election in court.

Despite the “pain” of the loss, Fayose is said to be exceedingly glad by Adebutu’s gift barely 24hours to election day.
