Pictures: Transcorp Hotels CEO, Uzo Oshogwe, Hosts Victorious Super Falcons

Transcorp Hotels, one of the subsidiaries of Transcorp Group – a Nigerian conglomerate with Tony Elumelu as Group Chairman – played host to triumphant Super Falcons over their victory at the just concluded Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in far away Rabat, Morocco.

Interestingly, the Super Falcons trashed the female national team of Morocco, the host nation, in a 2-1 thriller at the final of the tournament.

The event, jointly hosted by the hospitality firm and the Federal Government of Nigeria, took place inside one of the halls at the prestigious hotel.

A post by Tony Elumelu via his social media handle revealed Transcorp Hotel CEO Uzo Oshogwe as the chief host of the colourful ceremony.

Mr Elumelu’s post reads…

Yesterday, Uzo Oshogwe –  CEO Transcorp Hotels Plc & the Federal Government of Nigeria, hosted the Super Falcons, at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja to a befitting celebration for our champions.
Congratulations to our incredible Super Falcons on their WAFCON triumph! 🇳🇬 🦅Your strength, skill, and resilience continue to inspire a generation and remind us all of the power of Nigerian women to lead, excel and win.
